Who We Are

Disability Rights Advocates and attorneys are divided into four primary teams—the Children and Youth Team (CYT), the Adult Team (AT), the Information, Training, and Outreach Team (ITO), and Rep Payee. Each advocate, attorney, and three federal program coordinators participate on a team. Members of each team are supervised by an attorney.

The Team Leaders and a senior attorney are supervised by the legal director. In addition to the Team Leader, a staff attorney is a member of the CYT and the AT. The CYT handles all cases that concern children and youth with disabilities. The Adult Team handles cases that concern adults with disabilities.

The Teams also work on several systemic activities. The ITO Team manages all incoming requests to P&A and provides Information and Referral services to individuals. This team also coordinates training opportunities and agency outreach efforts to un/underserved populations.

Rep Payee is served by a program coordinator and advocates. Rep Payee reviews are assigned by the Social Security Administration.
